Minneapolis, February 3, 2023 – Chanl Health, a telehealth company providing virtual cardiac recovery solutions, has joined the American Heart Association Center for Health Technology & Innovation’s (the Center) Innovators’ Network. The Center is focused on building and fostering health technology relationships to develop innovative and scalable solutions.
The Innovators’ Network is a health technology consortium that connects entrepreneurs, providers, researchers and payers. Innovators’ Network members also have access to the Association’s digital guidelines, recommendations, and best-in-class science as they develop digital healthcare technologies. Members collaborate with the Center in different ways, including the building of models for clinical outcome studies, lowering the significant cost of developing those studies independently, helping connect the science to technology, and providing evidence
that a digital platform improves healthcare outcomes – a key concern for providers and payers.
“The Center aims to advance the rapid, efficient, and effective development of healthcare technology,” said Robert A. Harrington, M.D., FAHA, past president of the American Heart Association (2019-2020), volunteer chair of the American Heart Association’s Health Tech Advisory Group for the Center and Arthur L. Bloomfield professor and chair department of medicine, Stanford University. “Joining the Innovators’ Network gives members the opportunity to leverage the consortium and work toward broadening and deepening their engagement in this
arena.”
"At Chanl, our mission is to improve the outcomes and quality of life for patients who experience a cardiac event,” said Jared Sieling, Founder and CEO of Chanl Health. “We are excited to join the Innovator’s Network, because it gives us a unique opportunity to continue enhancing the science and evidence-base of our services.”
About Chanl Health
Chanl Health joins the Innovators’ Network, bringing with them the market-leading technology platform for Hybrid and Virtual Cardiac Rehab.
Chanl works with health systems across the country and provides them with a turn-key solution to deliver cardiac rehab through a virtual delivery model. Historically, standard 12-week cardiac rehab programs have been delivered to patients only in a center, requiring them to travel to the hospital several times a week. But these limitations have led to only 28% of eligible patients actually receiving this critical preventive care. With Chanl’s virtual model, patients can still participate in a high-quality cardiac rehab program, but from the comfort of their own home and on a schedule that works for them. To do this, Chanl provides patient’s with a digital portal (mobile/tablet/computer) where they can receive personalized education, care plan management and communication from their care team, tracking of vitals with remote monitoring devices, and weekly video calls with their care team and peers.
Chanl Health was founded in 2017 with a mission to eliminate all preventable patient deaths, readmissions, and relapses after a major cardiac event, while also improving their quality of life. Our multi-discipline team of clinicians, engineers, and designers focus on continuously improving patient access to the right care at the the right time, and better engaging patients in their own health journey.
