Outcomes and Financials Review of Virtual Cardiac Rehab (Video)
While our primary goal is to reach more patients and provide more access to cardiac/pulmonary rehab, we understand the implications when looking to add a new innovation to an existing program. The financials need to make sense in correlation with positive clinical outcomes. In this webinar we talked with Mike McNamara from the Montana Department of Health to help provide some insight into the operational logistics of this innovation. Mike presented outcomes collected by several hybrid cardiac rehab programs in 2020. This includes positive clinical and financial outcomes. We also discussed how to use data to justify a hybrid program at your organization, and the benefits and ROI that extend beyond the Public Health Emergency.
It is clear across the industry that hybrid cardiac and pulmonary rehab are here to stay, and they offer the best opportunity to reach more patients, safely and effectively. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or comments as you review the information, and as you put your proposal together we can shed insight on implementation costs and demonstrated financial return.
